RO3000®, RO3200™series and RO3730™ High Frequency Laminates (PTFE/Ceramic)

Rogers RO3000® family of high frequency laminates for commercial applications consists of four grades: RO3003™, RO3035™, RO3006™ and RO3010™. These advanced circuit materials combine microwave frequency electrical properties and improved temperature stable performance at a fraction of the cost of their military-grade counterparts. With a CTE matched to that of copper and FR4 in the X-Y plane, RO3000/FR4 hybrid constructions can be fabricated reliably. The RO3003 substrate can be used at relatively high frequencies because of its low dielectric loss.

The RO3200™ high frequency laminate family is made up of RO3203™, RO3206™ and RO3210™ materials, developed for applications requiring the same properties as the RO3000 materials but with greater mechanical strength. RO3200 materials are made by combining PTFE/ceramic layers with PTFE/woven glass for added rigidity. Like the RO3000 materials, the RO3200 family is also suited for MLBs and hybrid constructions with FR4.

Introducing RO3730™ antenna grade laminates - our newest antenna material offering low PIM and lower cost for high volume applications.

Features of RO3000®, RO3200™ series and RO3730™

  • Low dielectric loss for high frequency performance (RO3003). Laminate can be used in applications up to 30-40 GHz.
  • Excellent mechanical properties versus temperature for reliable stripline and multilayer circuit board constructions.
  • Uniform mechanical properties for a range of dielectric constants. Ideal for multilayer circuit board designs with a range of dielectric constants. Suitable of use with epoxy glass multilayer board hybrid designs.
  • Stable dielectric constant versus temperature and frequency for RO3003™. Ideal for band pass filters, microstrip patch antennas, and voltage controlled oscillators.
  • Low in-plane expansion coefficient (matched to copper). Allows for more reliable surface mounted assemblies. Ideal for applications sensitive to temperature change and excellent dimensional stability.
  • Volume manufacturing process for economical laminate pricing.
