Taconic RF-35A2 RF & Microwave Laminate

RF-35A is a ultra low loss power amplifier substrate made by Taconic. It is designed with an ultra low fiberglass content to achieve "best in class" insertion loss properties and a homogeneous dielectric constant throughout the laminate.

The uniform dispersion of ceramic throughout the laminate yields extremely low x and y coefficients of thermal expansion. The low modulus and low x-y CTE values make RF-35A2 and attractive material for the surface mounting of chip carriers.

RF-35A2 has all of the benefits from the rest of Taconic's RF-35 product line, including excellent copper peel strength for rework and reliability and low moisture absorption for fewer bakes and lower cost during processing. Taconic has raised thermal conductivity in RF-35A2 which enables higher power handling capability. The enhanced electrical and mechanical properties of RF-35A2 make it ideal for power amplifier applications, filters, couplers and RF applications.
